Gillingham & Medway

Little paintwork marks.
A proper assessment.

Paint chips, scuffed mirror covers and local areas of damaged paint. Send the whole affected area, even when the mark looks small.

01

Tell us which part is affected.

A mirror cover, wheel arch and door edge have different shapes and finishes. A wide photograph helps identify the panel, while a close-up shows the damage in the paint.

02

One chip is different from a spread of chips.

A single stone chip and widespread marks across a bonnet can require different approaches. Include all the damaged areas in the pictures so the discussion covers the whole job.

03

Polishing and painting serve different purposes.

A shallow surface mark may be suitable for polishing. Damage that reaches through the colour or primer can need a paint repair. We explain what is appropriate after assessing the condition of the finish.

04

When a wider area needs paint.

Some paint damage needs more than a small local repair. We also assess suitable panel resprays and explain when a larger area would need preparation and repainting.

05

Mention the rest of the panel too.

Peeling paint, rust, previous repairs or nearby trim damage can affect the options. Tell us about anything else you have noticed rather than sending only the smallest crop of the mark.

06

Mobile where the work is suitable.

We discuss the repair, price and timing before booking. For suitable work, the appointment can take place at your home or workplace in the agreed service area.
